Silverstone Circuit Guide

Silverstone Circuit is the “home of British Motor Racing”, hosting Formula One, the British Grand Prix, MotoGP, Formula Two, and virtually all other important motorsports competitions. Silverstone was the site of the very first Formula One World Championship race in 1950.

Silverstone has multiple configurations, but it’s the GP layout most often used for track days. It’s the only Formula 1 track you can drive on in the country, which makes the experience extra unique. Open pit lane is the norm at Silverstone, so you can come in and go out as many times as you wish, spending as much time on the track as you want.

Perhaps the most fun section of Silverstone is at Maggots, Beckets, and Chapel. You come in at high speed and roll a left-right-left-right-left for one of the most adrenaline-pumping feelings you can find anywhere in the world.

Gates open at 07:00 am, and you’ll receive a safety briefing at 08:30. At 09:00, the track is yours for the rest of the day!
